Presentation of the workshop
The workshop was organized by the ICAR Animal Data Exchange Working Group held in May 2025 and entitled “How to implement the ICAR Animal Data Exchange (ADE) standards in your organization”.
The workshop presened the standards defined by the ADE Working Group, a set of guidelines developed by ICAR to support consistent and interoperable data sharing across the global livestock sector. Such standards facilitate standardized data exchange between systems, such as farm management systems, milking systems, sensor systems, milk recording organizations and others, enhancing transparency, efficiency, and innovation in animal agriculture.
